Being a rail mobility partner involves continuing to support operators to maintain the reliability of the infrastructures and ensure continuous train traffic services. ETF provides both preventive and corrective maintenance works on infrastructures.

Upkeep (or preventive maintenance) ensures the long-term durability of transport infrastructure, making it possible to delay major renovation works and thus reduce operating costs. Our teams inspect tracks and carry out the necessary upkeep under one-off contracts or as part of multi-year contracts.

Increased traffic causes substantial wear, so that infrastructure requires (after several upkeep operations) maintenance work. In renewing track components or switches & crossings, ETF works within possessions, with adjacent track either open or closed to traffic.

ETF’s equipment fleet enables it to work within a possession. Dedicated infrastructure maintenance teams give priority to safety during their work.
