The theme of this SNCF R\u00e9seau event, which brought together more than 600 employees, partners and subcontractors in Chamb\u00e9ry, was \u2018Our lives, our priority\u2019. This non-specialist day provided an opportunity to discuss key topics through four interactive conferences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among them, the theatrical intervention \u2018Our Lives, Our Priority\u2019, led by the team of \u2018A nous de jouer\u2019, illustrated risky situations on the construction site through realistic sketches on the briefing, Stop & Go, and Non-Technical Skills (NTS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The striking testimony of Corinne Sapinet, victim of a serious road accident, served as a reminder of the importance of vigilance with regard to road risks. Vincent Collet, former coach of the French basketball team, inspired the audience by addressing the topics of cohesion and team management, emphasising the strength of the collective in the success of projects and risk prevention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, Pierre Daburon, Pierre Delmotte and Yannis Yamine took stock of the safety actions carried out as part of the 2017-2024 Rapid Response contract, emphasising that safety remains the top priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event was an opportunity to raise awareness among participants, share good practices and strengthen the collective commitment to safety on a daily basis. Together, let’s continue to build a culture of safety in the rail sector.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

9 October, Awards ceremony for the “Our Lives, Our Priority” challenge<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the “Our Lives, Our Priority” safety challenge organised by SNCF R\u00e9seau, ETF Academy stood out among the nine winning organisations, winning the “Best Internal Practice for Adopting Rituals” trophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ETF Academy has designed an innovative training course focusing on the ten requirements of the briefing at the start of the operation and the STOP & GO method. These immersive sessions allow participants to familiarise themselves with real cases and better understand concrete risks such as being hit by a train, electrical hazards, or being hit by a machine or a load.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This dynamic approach reinforces the appropriation of the 3 Life-Saving Rules, which are essential to guarantee safety in the field. In collaboration with ITIF, ETF Academy aims to pool skills by integrating employees from ETF, Feroway and ITIF into these training courses. Between 2023 and 2024, 47 sessions were delivered, bringing together more than 310 learners, thus promoting synergy and enhanced safety.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

15 October, ETF takes part in the 25th anniversary of Mase Hauts-de-France<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This event brought together 80 companies committed to adopting the Mase* standard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the association’s Ordinary General Meeting, a presentation of the developments in the 2024 standard and the outlook, the public was able to discover the \u2018Village of Good Practices\u2019. On this occasion, ETF was able to present our approach to briefing and debriefing, as well as the golden rules of health and safety and our innovations for the safety of our employees (track consignment, point consignment, lamp holder).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This participation allowed us to exchange with our customers, suppliers and local partners, in a constructive atmosphere, around practices that contribute to the safety of teams and facilitate collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

*The MASE (Manuel d’Am\u00e9lioration S\u00e9curit\u00e9 des Entreprises) standard is a management system aimed at improving safety, health and the environment in companies. It helps to structure risk prevention practices and guarantee high standards, particularly in industrial sectors.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
