Five days ahead of the initial schedule and no late returns have been noted on the current Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes site. The client, SNCF R\u00e9seau, has also expressed its great satisfaction with the commitment and efficiency of the teams working on the site. This success is due to the daily involvement of more than a hundred employees and the reliability of the REVO works train, which has been able to meet the many technical challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Methodology at the service of the circular economy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the framework of the RRI, a specific methodology for reloading the reuse rail can be implemented according to the customer&#8217;s needs. After the old rails have been removed, they are transported to a rear base. Unlike the old method, where the rails were cut into 12-metre lengths before being melted down and transformed into new rails, the new method involves cutting the rails into 147-metre bars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are then reloaded onto SNCF R\u00e9seau wagons to be reused on other sites where the rails are particularly old. Since the start of the current project in the Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes region, ETF has been cutting the rails into 147-metre bars directly at the clamping wagon.
