This transition to more environmentally friendly equipment is fully in line with ETF’s environmental policy. It reflects a strong commitment to meeting current environmental challenges while responding to the expectations of local residents and partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hybrid machines to reduce noise pollution<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Operating mainly at night and in urban areas, ETF is particularly concerned about the noise pollution generated by its construction sites. The Skyrailer hybrid<\/strong> and ELAN hybrid<\/strong> aerial platforms have been designed to offer a quieter solution. Thanks to these machines, the noise from night-time work, which is often perceived as a nuisance by local residents, has now been reduced from 90<\/strong> to 0 decibels<\/strong>, ensuring a quieter and more respectful working environment for neighbouring homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ETF’s hybrid machines do more than just reduce noise. They also offer significant benefits in terms of CO\u2082 emissions<\/strong> and energy consumption<\/strong>. These machines deliver:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Up to 96% reduction in CO\u2082 emissions<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Fuel savings<\/strong> of 30 to 100% compared to traditional machines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Use of HVO 100 biofuel<\/strong>, which is more environmentally friendly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    These initiatives reflect a global commitment to energy transition and long-term environmental protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2025 target: 100% hybrid aerial platforms on the AFSB construction site<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    ETF’s catenary activities are continuing this ambitious approach through the vast AFSB (Am\u00e9nagements Ferroviaires au Sud de Bordeaux) railway development project, which includes the modernisation of the Bordeaux railway hub and the future Bordeaux-Toulouse line. From 2025 onwards, only hybrid platforms will be used<\/strong> on this project, confirming ETF’s commitment to rolling out their use across all its catenary construction sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
