{"id":10432218,"date":"2025-04-28T08:50:59","date_gmt":"2025-04-28T06:50:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.etf.fr\/uncategorized\/nos-experts-catenaires-au-coeur-du-renouveau-du-tramway-nantais\/"},"modified":"2025-05-20T15:11:44","modified_gmt":"2025-05-20T13:11:44","slug":"nos-experts-catenaires-au-coeur-du-renouveau-du-tramway-nantais","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.etf.fr\/en\/catenaires-et-energie-en\/nos-experts-catenaires-au-coeur-du-renouveau-du-tramway-nantais\/","title":{"rendered":"Our catenary experts at the heart of the revival of the Nantes tramway"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This major project is being carried out by a consortium comprising <strong>ETF (lead contractor)<\/strong>, <strong>LP Urbain<\/strong>, <strong>GTM Ouest<\/strong> and <strong>Bouygues (SST)<\/strong>, on behalf of <strong>Nantes M\u00e9tropole<\/strong> and <strong>SEMITAN<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Three sectors, one goal: smoother mobility<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The work is divided into three strategic areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sector 1 \u2013 Quai de la Fosse \/ Pont Anne de Bretagne<\/strong>: Renovation of the existing platform, creation of a tramway junction and crossing of the Loire via a new structure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sector 2 \u2013 \u00cele de Nantes<\/strong>: Construction of new infrastructure, widening of the Pont des Trois Continents bridge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sector 3 \u2013 Rez\u00e9<\/strong>: Creation of a new tramway route to support the development of the neighbourhood.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-background\" style=\"background-color:#e5f1f9\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-cce19730200bed103a8d94ea67ad24bf\" style=\"color:#004488\">Key figures for the project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-background\" style=\"background-color:#e5f1f9\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The project involves significant human and technical resources:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1.2 km of redeveloped platform<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2.6 km of new platform<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>168 LAC posts installed (and 27 removed)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>11 km of contact wire laid<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>150 LAC foundations, some of which are micropile foundations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rail-road fittings installed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installation of lighting on LAC posts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This project also takes into account environmental and local acceptance issues, with optimised measures to limit disruption in densely populated areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A project serving the region<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>By modernising its network, the city of Nantes is strengthening its commitment to <strong>smoother, more sustainable and inclusive mobility<\/strong>.
