A strong commitment at the heart of major urban projects<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On 18 June in Lyon, ETF officially signed the Charter of 1,000 as part of the \u2018Companies Commit<\/em>\u2019 initiative. The event was attended by Nicolas Kaeser, Director of Major Urban Projects at ETF, Mory SEYE, Interim Director of the Maison M\u00e9tropolitaine d’Insertion pour l’Emploi (MMIE) and SOW Abdoulaye, Deputy Mayor for Employment, Integration and Vocational Training, Digital Technology and Modernisation of Public Action.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • More than 17 employment events<\/strong> promoting integration: participation in the Bus de l’Emploi<\/strong> (job bus), the Journ\u00e9es V\u00e9nissianes<\/strong> (V\u00e9nissian Days), and the organisation of mock interviews<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Work experience placements<\/strong> (PMSMP) enable people who are distant from the job market to discover a profession.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Dedicated training programmes, <\/strong>such as the Individual Operational Preparation for Employment<\/strong> (POEI) and training with ETF Academy<\/strong>, to support the skills development of people in integration.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Strong local roots<\/strong>, with the use of specialised structures such as the Groupement d’Employeurs pour l’Insertion et la Qualification (GEIQ)<\/strong> (Employers’ Group for Integration and Qualification) and Entreprises de Travail Temporaire d’Insertion (ETTI)<\/strong> (Temporary Work Agencies for Integration) such as Humando<\/strong>, which promote local recruitment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • – Gradual and supervised integration<\/strong>, including a safety induction<\/strong>, personalised HR support<\/strong>, team awareness-raising<\/strong> and a tailored skills development programme<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The company also organises site visits and immersion programmes<\/strong> for third-year secondary school pupils<\/strong> to introduce them to careers in the rail industry and raise their awareness of integration opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • On-the-job mentoring<\/strong> provided by \u2018ETF Aiguilleurs\u2019<\/strong>, local advisors who provide individual support on construction sites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Between 2024 and 2025<\/strong>, more than 13,000 hours of integration<\/strong>, in both operational and administrative positions, were completed on our T9 and T10 construction sites<\/strong>. ETF supported more than 20 people who were far from employment<\/strong> through PMSMP programmes and recruited more than 12 employees<\/strong>, who were trained in its trades through the ETF Academy<\/strong> programme.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
