The teams are currently working on the central platform (B) and will then work on the passenger building side platform (A) in the first half of 2024. As part of this project, ETF is carrying out all the detailed design work and the following tasks: removal of existing installations, demolition and raising of platform edges, installation of new equipment, various underground networks and raising of chambers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To complete the rest of the project, ETF can count on the expertise and know-how of the VINCI Group, with CEGELEC (VINCI Energies) handling the electrical work and Eurovia (VINCI Construction) handling the asphalt work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to limit the impact on station users, all the work planned for 2023 will be carried out at night when there is no traffic and during five weekends in a \u2018blitz\u2019 operation. A red carpet will be laid and nailed down each morning so that pedestrians can walk without risk of injury. Acoustic tarpaulins have also been deployed around the site to minimise the impact on local residents, particularly during noisy tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em><em><strong>Some figures:<\/strong><\/em><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1,220 metres of quay walls will be raised<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>665 cubic metres of fill will be laid<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2,000 metres of various networks will be deployed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>350 tonnes of asphalt will be laid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since early May 2023, ETF&#8217;s Railway Civil Engineering agency has been carrying out work for SNCF Gares &amp; Connexions to improve accessibility on platforms A and B at Blois-Chambord station.
