This was followed by the start of track renewal work (1,200 metres) at Thionville station, before the arrival of the Suite Rapide trains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is from the town of Thionville that the Major Projects teams will begin their 2023 track regeneration campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This project required the teams to be highly adaptable in terms of technical skills and versatility. With track laying initially planned to be carried out in sections and a projected output of 120 metres per shift, the operational teams had to review their methodology following unforeseen circumstances on site, which made this impossible. The team carried out the laying directly \u2018in situ\u2019 with peak outputs reaching the projected targets.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This summer, the teams carried out an initial phase of related works, including the installation of Berlinese barriers, the creation of a rail platform and access ramps, track drainage, track sanding and the installation of upstream gutter covers to ensure the safety and durability of the structures.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":175,"featured_media":79388,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[201],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-12481815","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-agence-est-en"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 -
