With a 6.5 km long track platform and the creation of six new stations, this extension completes the network in this part of Seine-Saint-Denis (93), offering connections to several key lines in the network: RER E, the future line 15 (Grand Paris) and four bus lines.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Begun nearly two years ago, the first phase of work was completed in April 2021 with the construction of the Rosny loop railway system (future terminus) and the train maintenance workshop (AMT). This more modern workshop will replace the existing one. It is designed to accommodate all routine maintenance activities, cleaning and most of the storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1352\" height=\"535\" src=\"https:\/\/www.etf.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Image1-1-1352x535.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5963\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.etf.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Image1-1-1352x535.png 1352w, https:\/\/www.etf.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Image1-1-250x99.png 250w, https:\/\/www.etf.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Image1-1-800x317.png 800w, https:\/\/www.etf.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Image1-1-1536x608.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.etf.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Image1-1.png 1751w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1352px) 100vw, 1352px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>In total, the consortium&#8217;s operational teams have already built more than 4,400 linear metres of track: elevated tracks on stilts, embedded tracks and ballasted tracks. They have also installed 12 sets of points, 8 in the maintenance workshop and 4 in tunnels.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The consortium is now beginning preparations for the second phase of the project, which will start in July 2021.
