{"id":12515660,"date":"2021-02-24T16:09:46","date_gmt":"2021-02-24T15:09:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.etf.fr\/uncategorized\/chantiers-du-grand-paris-etf-sengage-en-faveur-de-linsertion-professionnelle\/"},"modified":"2025-09-29T14:55:36","modified_gmt":"2025-09-29T12:55:36","slug":"chantiers-du-grand-paris-etf-sengage-en-faveur-de-linsertion-professionnelle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.etf.fr\/en\/etf-academy-en\/chantiers-du-grand-paris-etf-sengage-en-faveur-de-linsertion-professionnelle\/","title":{"rendered":"Grand Paris construction projects: ETF is committed to professional integration"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong><strong>Local integration and employment at the heart of Greater Paris&#8217; recruitment policy<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:27% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/news.etf.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/Insertion-GP-1-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1166 size-full\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>As part of its construction projects, ETF is working alongside Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 du Grand Paris to promote local employment and professional integration. <strong>Around 60 people who were distant from the labour market or long-term unemployed have already been recruited and are currently undergoing training in railway construction trades.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Recruitment, carried out in collaboration with local associations and a temporary employment agency, was not based on CVs but on the candidates&#8217; interpersonal skills and their motivation to join the ETF training programme to learn a new trade.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong><strong>ETF Academy, tailor-made courses and support<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:18% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/news.etf.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/Formation-1-587x440.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1184 size-full\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>To ensure the training and skills development of its new operational staff, specific courses have been set up by ETF Academy, ETF&#8217;s internal training centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Track Layers Course: <\/strong>Attended by nearly 45 trainees, it takes place over three five-week sessions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Machine Operators Course:<\/strong> Attended by 12 trainees, it takes place over six weeks and will enable operational staff to operate road-rail excavators and VMS machines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-bottom\" style=\"grid-template-columns:18% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/news.etf.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2021\/02\/formation-salle-725x440.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1176 size-full\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p><strong>The training courses, delivered entirely by ETF Academy<\/strong>, cover the theory and practice of<strong> specific skills for each profession, with additional modules on prevention, first aid and French.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-red-color has-text-color\"><strong>Greater Paris, a key player in economic and social development<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These training courses, delivered as part of the <strong>Pr\u00e9paration Op\u00e9rationnelle \u00e0 l&#8217;Emploi Collectif (POEC)<\/strong> programme, will enable trainees to acquire solid long-term skills in the field of railway works. <strong>This is a springboard for these operational staff, who will be able to choose to continue along this path via other Grand Paris projects or in companies in this sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the end of these initial training sessions, the operational staff will join the construction sites for line 14 South and tramway T10.
