ETF, acting as project manager in partnership with Sogea Environnement, was responsible for removing the catenary wires between Massy-Verri\u00e8res and Les Baconnets stations. This initial phase was followed by the dismantling of the civil engineering infrastructure and the removal of the two RER B tracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Once the space had been cleared for the future TGV track, the ETF teams reinstalled the tracks and new catenary wires along a new one-kilometre route. For the 1 million daily users of the RER B line, there was no difference! But the infrastructure now has a longer service life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>From foundations to electrification, a VINCI Construction project!<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Electrified railways also require platforms, foundations and waterproofing for railway bridges. This project is a fine example of the synergy between VINCI Construction&#8217;s various areas of expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sogea Environnement, Botte Fondations and Eurovia all contributed to the success of this project. Sogea Environnement was responsible for constructing the catenary supports and creating the new railway platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Botte Fondations and Eurovia also participated in the construction of the deep foundations and waterproofing of a railway bridge. Commercial traffic resumed on the morning of 28 August following the completion of the final works by our teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"oembed\">\n\t<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"VINCI Construction au service du RER B !\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/LCxBOgBEEAE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A certified construction site!<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This project also stands out for its exemplary environmental approach. By treating and reusing 3,000 m3 of excavated material, the teams were able to reuse this soil as fill directly on site. This approach significantly reduced the duration of earthworks, from three weeks to just ten days. In addition to saving time, this land management approach greatly limits truck traffic, reducing the site&#8217;s carbon footprint and noise pollution for nearby residents. This initiative earned the site the VINCI environmental label, highlighting the commitment of both entities to limiting the impact of their construction sites and promoting the circular economy of resources.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The relocation of the RER B line freed up space to create a second track for the TGV line between Massy and Valenton.
