{"id":14814843,"date":"2026-03-06T14:40:12","date_gmt":"2026-03-06T13:40:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.etf.fr\/uncategorized\/etf-et-loppbtp-mobilises-pour-renforcer-la-culture-prevention-des-encadrants\/"},"modified":"2026-03-27T11:30:17","modified_gmt":"2026-03-27T10:30:17","slug":"etf-et-loppbtp-mobilises-pour-renforcer-la-culture-prevention-des-encadrants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.etf.fr\/en\/health-and-safety\/etf-et-loppbtp-mobilises-pour-renforcer-la-culture-prevention-des-encadrants\/","title":{"rendered":"ETF and OPPBTP are working together to strengthen a culture of prevention among managers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of this initiative, ETF\u2019s Grand Est branch, in partnership with OPPBTP Alsace-Lorraine, has dedicated a day to preventing collisions between machinery and ground staff \u2014 a major concern on construction sites where rail and road traffic, lifting operations and ground crews interact on a daily basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>An identified and shared risk<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The high volume of activity and the complexity of railway environments increase exposure to hazardous situations. Preventing such situations relies on rigorous organisation, effective coordination and shared vigilance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In light of this, more than 50 supervisors \u2014 works managers, site managers, team leaders and machine operators \u2014 came together with a common goal: to strengthen collective vigilance and improve practices on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A proactive day dedicated to fostering a sustainable safety culture<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Structured around practical discussions and feedback from the field, this awareness-raising day provided an opportunity to analyse situations encountered on construction sites, assess existing practices and identify improvement measures that can be implemented immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By encouraging the active participation of supervisors, this initiative reinforces ownership of safety issues and develops shared reflexes. It is fully in line with ETF\u2019s continuous improvement approach and helps to embed a culture of prevention within teams on a long-term basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Safety at the heart of ETF\u2019s commitment<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Olivier Meulot, ETF\u2019s Grand Est regional manager, emphasises:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur teams work tirelessly, day and night, to optimise the lifecycle of railway infrastructure and ensure the smooth flow of traffic.
