A section of the RER A line was closed to allow maintenance work to be carried out on the switches and crossings between Chatou and Rueil-Malmaison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Feroway provided all the rail safety services and transported the work trains, ensuring that operations ran smoothly on site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The secondary phase, carried out at the end of October and recently completed, involved the renovation of 4 switches and the renewal of 200 metres of ballast track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was a real marathon where every minute counted: one operation over a weekend and two weeks of work, at a rate of 2 hours per night.
