The work is being carried out by teams from the ETF Cat\u00e9naires IDF agency, with support from ETF Services, which is responsible for the APLAM and APS9 rail safety services. The project is divided into three sections. The first, between Paris Gare de Lyon and Combs-la-Ville, was completed between 2020 and 2022. The second, between Grigny and Corbeil-Essonnes, ran from September 2021 to December 2023, involving 80 ETF employees and 60 weeks of night work. This segment also included the construction of 300 foundations, the installation of 450 fittings, and the unwinding of 42 km of Feeder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final section, from Combs to Melun, began in January 2024 and will continue until 2027. The aim of this phase is to finalise the adaptation of the infrastructure for the new trains, by continuing efforts to reinforce the catenaries and feeder stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ETF’s catenary teams were able to win each section thanks to the quality of their bids and the work they delivered. Their ability to meet deadlines guarantees minimal disruption for users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This modernisation will enable the RER D to accommodate larger trains and respond effectively to the growing need for mobility in the \u00cele-de-France region, offering an improved service to millions of passengers every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
