{"id":71592,"date":"2021-05-30T14:55:00","date_gmt":"2021-05-30T12:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.etf.fr\/?p=71592"},"modified":"2022-11-03T12:16:13","modified_gmt":"2022-11-03T11:16:13","slug":"new-gantries-for-unloading-switches","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.etf.fr\/en\/actualites\/new-gantries-for-unloading-switches\/","title":{"rendered":"New gantries for unloading switches"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em><strong>As part of the Vigirail switches renewal programme, ETF teams use trestle wagons to deliver pre-assembled switches to construction sites.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to facilitate the work of its operational staff, the ETF&#8217;s <em>Travaux M\u00e9canis\u00e9s Nationaux<\/em> agency has acquired two new gantries dedicated to the unloading and laying of switches from wagons or platforms. These gantries, which are unique in France, represent a good technical alternative to Kirow cranes and greatly improve the safety of work teams.
