ETF Polska is reviving the railway line connecting Jelenia G\u00f3ra to Karpacz in Poland, which has been closed for more than 20 years. Once a major transport route, this line is being reborn thanks to an investment from the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. The return of the first passenger trains is scheduled for the end of June 2025, marking an essential turning point for local infrastructure and tourism.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Polish teams are working on the renewal of 7.5 km of track, the construction of 6 lit platforms, the modernisation of 3 engineering structures and the rehabilitation of 11 level crossings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Karpacz, a popular mountain resort<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Located in the valley of the \u0141omnica River, Karpacz is a must-see destination for its spectacular scenery and its access to \u015anie\u017cka, the highest peak of the Karkonosze Mountains. The reopening of the line will facilitate access to this picturesque region, attracting new visitors and stimulating the local economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new customer for ETF Polska<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This project also marks a turning point for ETF Polska, which is teaming up with DSDiK, a new client. This strategic collaboration expands ETF Polska’s portfolio beyond its relationship with PKP PLK, thus strengthening its position in the railway sector in Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new contract for the signage lot<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a sign of the client’s renewed confidence, ETF Polska has been awarded a new contract for the signalling package on the same line. This project will help to improve traffic safety and efficiency by securing 12 level crossings and installing additional lighting and surveillance systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
