Two new contracts for our Canadian subsidiary

The Rail Cantech agency has won two major contracts for its client VIA RAIL. This client operates Canada’s national passenger rail service on behalf of the Government of Canada. The first contract involves replacing 9,500 sleepers and rehabilitating a level crossing, keeping the teams busy for three months. The second contract involves standardising 132,000 linear feet (approximately 40 km) of track over a period of just over one month. The work, located in Ontario, will begin shortly, allowing the season to get fully underway once the snow has melted.
