ETF to build the western extension of Strasbourg’s F tramway system

Publié le 22 April 2024

In March 2024, ETF won the contract to supply and lay the track for the western extension of line F of the Strasbourg tramway. On behalf of Compagnie des Transports Strasbourgeois (CTS), our teams will be building a new 4,500-metre-long route. 8 new stops will be created from the ‘Comtes’ terminus to the town of Wolfisheim.

‘Opening, scheduled for the last quarter of 2025, will benefit tens of thousands of additional passengers.’

Jeanne BARSEGHIAN, Mayor of Strasbourg

This extension will improve services to the neighbourhoods it passes through and will provide direct access to the employment areas of the Eckbolsheim, Les Forges and Parc Gruber business parks.

ETF will devote 2,400 hours to integration, i.e. 5% of its workforce. In addition to developing rapid and sustainable mobility, this commitment confirms our desire to act in a virtuous manner through employment and education.

ETF has a proven track record as a reliable partner. The client’s choice was also based on ETF’s commitment to our CSR approach.

Managed jointly by the Grands Projets Urbains agency and the Est agency, this project will benefit from both local and national expertise.
