International Women’s Rights Day 2025
On the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day, ETF reaffirms its commitment to diversity and equal opportunities.
Changing perceptions and opening up the field of possibilities
The rail sector and, more broadly, the construction industry have long been perceived as predominantly male sectors. However, this reality is changing, and more and more women are embracing these technical and industrial careers. At ETF, we support them, value them and encourage diversity in our professions.
Deconstructing stereotypes with ‘Elles bougent’
Since 2018, ETF has been a partner of the association ‘Elles bougent’ (Girls on the Move), which works to encourage young girls to consider scientific and technical careers. This partnership allows them to discover exciting professions and access real professional opportunities. By highlighting inspiring female role models, we encourage vocations and participate in the feminisation of technical and industrial professions.
ETF is fully committed to promoting gender diversity and combating preconceived ideas. Thanks to the commitment of our mentors (female engineers and technicians) and the active network of ‘Elles bougent’ (Women on the Move), we are increasing the number of testimonials and meetings in the field.
A commitment against everyday sexism
Inclusion also means fighting against everyday sexism. We carry out awareness-raising actions within our teams to react to these unacceptable situations and guarantee a respectful work environment.
Our ambition?
- To show that passion and determination have no gender.
- To encourage the feminisation of our professions and promote the professional integration of women.
- Breaking down barriers and opening up new opportunities for future generations.
We are fully committed to VINCI Construction’s pledge to be a more inclusive company. Together
