Railway works resume in Chile!

Around the world, railway construction activities have been severely impacted by the spread of COVID-19. However, as in France, public transport in Chile is considered essential to the functioning of the country.

The ETF and OFC teams have mobilised to ensure their construction and maintenance activities so that their customers can maintain continuity of service:

  • EFE, in charge of the Chilean national rail network
  • The Santiago metro, for which ETF and OFC are responsible for the maintenance of the entire rail network and the future extension of line 2.

With the strict application of protective measures and preventive measures, the health of employees remains the top priority. Safety rules have been redesigned to adapt to the current situation and protect the health of all people, employees and stakeholders present on the construction site.er.
