Behind the scenes of the Donges industrial sites railway bypass
Discover the large-scale project to build a railway bypass around the industrial sites in Donges, carried out by teams from Agence Atlantique.
Major operation
With more than 120 operational staff and 80 machines mobilised over seven consecutive days, this operation marked the end of two years of work to divert rail traffic from the Nantes/Le Croisic line and take it out of the SEVESO perimeter.
Synergy: ETF and VINCI Construction Terrassement
The project, which involved significant technical, safety and environmental challenges, was made possible thanks to the exceptional collaboration between the ETF track/catenary teams and those of VINCI Construction Terrassement. The multi-trade consortium, wholly owned by VINCI Construction in France, demonstrated its agility, organisation and strength in meeting the needs of the region and SNCF Réseau.
Regularity maintained
All operations carried out during the project met the regularity objectives, thereby minimising the impact on the 60 daily trains that transport thousands of passengers.
