Between Nantes and Vertou, ETF is renewing 4 km of track

For SNCF Réseau, the ETF teams from the Atlantique agency worked for two months, between mid-September and mid-November 2021, on the Nantes–Vertou line (44) to renew 4,100 metres of track and ballast.

They were able to count on the support of ETF Caténaires & Energie, which carried out the catenary pole installation and adjustment work. In total, nearly 35 operational staff were mobilised each night to complete this project.

Carried out in sections to limit the impact on users, this project was a success in terms of efficiency, with peaks of up to 160 metres of RGB using traditional, non-mechanised methods.
