A weekend of action at Houilles – Carrières-sur-Seine station

Renovation work has been carried out at Houilles-Carrières station as part of the extension of RER line E to Mantes-la-Jolie. Passengers will eventually have new trains to La Défense, Paris and stations in eastern Paris. Houilles-Carrières station, which already serves RER line A and Transilien line L, will be completely renovated before 2024. The work carried out at this station mainly consists of lengthening and raising the platforms to accommodate the new rolling stock. Intensive weekend of 11 November 2019
  • Five companies on the platforms (ETF -SDEL-ACTEMIUM -APPLIC-JEAN LEFEBVRE EJL), with ETF as the main contractor
  • 60 tasks completed in three eight-hour shifts from Friday 8 November to 11 November 2019
  • At the peak of activity, 40 people were present on the platforms
The aim of this last weekend was to lay the asphalt (with EJL Groupe Eurovia) on the two platforms, thus completing a technically dense and complex project.
