Removal and replacement of four sets of points on line 12
As part of the contract to extend line 12 of the Paris Metro, ETF successfully completed its last OCP of the summer season at Porte de la Chapelle station.
The aim of this extension to the Paris metro is to serve the urban redevelopment hub of La Plaine Saint-Denis and improve access to the municipality of Aubervilliers.
To achieve this, our teams removed and replaced four sets of points.
Our railway maintenance and construction team rallied together and rose to the challenge during the busy summer period, alongside several other major regeneration projects carried out simultaneously on other lines by our teams!
The recent extension carried out by ETF also requires adjustments to the equipment at the end of the line, namely at Porte de la Chapelle and Front Populaire.
This latest OCP, marking the successful conclusion of this contract, represents a significant milestone for our team.
It guarantees the final configuration of the line for the operating teams, enabling them to manage it smoothly and optimally, without the need for specific monitoring measures.
