Successful crackdown by ETF on the RATP network
Taking advantage of the August bank holiday and the many people going on holiday during this period, the ETF teams worked four consecutive days and five consecutive nights to renew communications on line 6 of the Paris Metro at Kléber station.
Under the supervision of RATP, ETF deployed seven work convoys, including a special one with Marrel cranes for handling the rails and loading the old iron components (rails and tracks).
This project required a month of night work in advance to prepare the area: unloading new iron stored in the middle of the track, unloading small railway equipment, changing the transition sleepers around the track equipment, and chaining and marking the equipment to check that each component corresponded to the track equipment in place.
The work was completed on schedule and traffic was able to resume without any disruption to users.
