End of construction in Creil!
ETF carried out the regeneration of the Creil Regional Transport and Supply Unit (URAA) for its client Infrapôle Paris Nord.
As project manager, ETF removed and replaced 2.2 km of track. Jean Lefebvre, as co-contractor, was responsible for the earthworks.
This URAA regeneration project, which began in mid-September 2019, was divided into two lots: the site access area and the rear base area.
The URAA is the logistics base for Infrapôle Paris Nord, which uses it to organise construction sites (garage and training of work trains, loading and unloading of materials, etc.). ).
This project, which lasted four months and involved around twenty people, enabled:
- the installation of seven sets of points
- the renewal of seven tracks: two complete and five partial
The specific feature of this project is that ETF supplied all the materials. The points were also designed using existing components.
Materials used:
- 4,500 linear metres of rail
- 3,800 sleepers
- 5,000 tonnes of ballast
