A summer in the Coudray tunnel
ETF teams worked in the Coudray tunnel for seven weeks between 15 July and the end of August 2019 to carry out renewal work.
This 1.5 km single-track tunnel connects the towns of Beauvais and Méru. A total of 40 people were mobilised to carry out 550 metres of track/ballast renewal and the removal/replacement of tracks on two engineering structures.
The ETF Paris Nord agency, which was in charge of this project, called on the entire company to work together to complete it. Other agencies also worked on the project: ETF Île-de-France Ouest, ETF Travaux Mécanisés, ETF Arras, ETF Zones Denses and ETF Services. This was a great success for the company, demonstrating the complementary nature of its skills.
