In this context, ETF will mainly manage systematic, preventive, corrective and remedial rail maintenance. This activity will mobilise five dedicated employees, supported by the ITE sector in Vitrolles, which has a strong presence in the region. Regular interventions will ensure the smooth operation of all infrastructure, including tracks, catenaries, engineering structures, electrical services, mechanical services and signalling.

This success marks the third consecutive contract won by the consortium, which has been working with the Port of Marseille since 2010. The success is based on the perfect mastery of the site and the teams, as well as on the efficiency of the work carried out over the last few years.

This strategic project underlines the importance of rail in ensuring the smooth running of freight port operations, which are the pillars of international trade, and in promoting efficient intermodal transport to serve local communities.
