Sparks fly on the construction site of line 15 of the Paris Metro

Publié le 19 December 2022

All VINCI Group subsidiaries working on Grand Paris Express construction sites have joined forces to create an endowment fund: Chantiers & Territoires Solidaires. For several years, it has been supporting public interest projects located near these construction sites. ETF and its employees are committed to acting as a solidarity relay and carry out numerous initiatives alongside associations.

From 7 to 25 November 2022, the teams building the railway system for the future Line 15 South-West welcomed eight young people from the Réseau Etincelle network. Residents of the town of Bagneux and the surrounding area, they were able to discover in detail this construction site taking place in the heart of their territory and talk to our teams about careers in railway construction.

During the two weeks they spent with the teams, they were able to:

  • Discover the organisation, logistics and running of a railway construction site
  • Take part in an HR workshop on the theme of ‘How to put yourself in a recruiter’s shoes’
  • Talk to our site managers about their careers and their day-to-day work.

‘I loved visiting the tunnel’

‘I learned about CVs and interviews.’

‘Safety is very important on the construction site.’

These were the words of the young people at the end of their two weeks at ETF! These wonderful moments of sharing were made possible by the mobilisation of our employees, the motivation of our interns and the commitment of the Etincelle and Chantier & Territoire Solidaires associations.

Participating in the training of young people and promoting their social and professional integration are strong commitments for the VINCI Group and ETF. They are reflected in every solidarity and civic action carried out by our construction sites! Because beyond carrying out projects that will facilitate the mobility of thousands of users, we want to have a positive impact on the cities where we work.où nous nous travaillons.
