Lyon, a new, highly connected tram line

At the end of June 2017, the consortium commissioned by ETF was awarded the contract to build line T6 of the Lyon tramway. Construction will begin in September 2017, with the line scheduled to open in December 2019. The project includes 6.7 km of track, as well as two crossings and a connection to the existing tram lines: work that will have to be carried out while the tram service is suspended. The experience of ETF and the companies in the consortium on this type of project in the Lyon metropolitan area was a decisive factor in the client’s choice.
