ETF partners with the Centrale Lyon 2025 Challenge
As part of its commitment to training and sharing expertise, ETF, a major player in railway construction, has entered into a partnership with the Centrale Lyon 2025 Sports Challenge. This partnership is structured around three key events, promoting exchanges between industry professionals and students at the Centrale Lyon engineering school.
An inspiring conference on railway innovation
Intitulée “L’innovation ferroviaire sur de bons rails”, cette conférence organisée en février a permis de présenter aux étudiants les grands enjeux du ferroviaire de demain, les évolutions métiers et les opportunités professionnelles au sein d’ETF.
Three ETF experts came to share their experiences and insights:
- Laurent Fontaine, Regional Director, provided a strategic overview of project development at the regional level.
- Benoît de Premare, Catenary Project Manager, detailed the technical challenges involved in modernising and electrifying lines.
- Laura Martins Masso, Graduate Programme Site Supervisor, shared her experience as a young talent who joined ETF through our dedicated programme.
ETF partners with student sports challenge
March was marked by a major sporting event bringing together nearly 2,000 students across 23 disciplines. ETF was proud to support this initiative by sponsoring the women’s and men’s basketball tournaments, reflecting the values that drive us: team spirit, commitment and performance.
An after-work event to continue the discussions
In May, a friendly after-work event brought together students, partners and ETF employees for a buffet dinner. This informal gathering provided an opportunity to continue the discussions begun during the conference, share experiences and inspire interest in careers in the railway industry.
This partnership with the Challenge Centrale Lyon fully illustrates ETF’s commitment to involving itself in the training of future generations by building concrete bridges between the academic world and the realities of the field.
