ETF Academy launches its work-study railway site manager course

In partnership with the Bruay-la-Buissière secondary school in the Nord department, ETF Academy launched its first work-study training programme for railway site managers in September 2019. This first session has 13 candidates spread across ETF’s various agencies in France. Their six-month training programme covers the company’s business lines, infrastructure operations, professional skills, and regulatory and organisational aspects. This training is provided exclusively by ETF Academy trainers and professionals from the railway industry. It is a ‘win-win’ programme for these candidates, who already have a two-year degree in civil engineering and are now specialising in railways, with the ultimate possibility of permanent employment in a very buoyant market in which ETF is one of the undisputed leaders.
