Mandatory SECUFER training for access to railway property
The countdown has begun! From 1 October 2024, Decree No. 2017-694 of 2 May 2017, known as the SECUFER Decree, requires all employers to issue an Authorisation to Access Railway Property (AAE) to their staff working in high-risk areas. From this date onwards, it will no longer be possible to access railway property without having completed the SECUFER training course, which is mandatory in order to obtain an AAE from your employer.
The purpose of this decree is to ensure the protection of workers on railway construction sites.
What does the SECUFER course cover?
Since 2018, ETF Academy has been offering a one-day training course combining theory and practice to provide training on the various changes required by the SECUFER decree. Here are the key points covered by this training course:
- The risks associated with travelling on railway property and the safety measures to be applied.
- The risks associated with electrical installations and the safety measures to be applied.
- The procedures for issuing Authorisations for Access to Railway Property (AAE).
- Information on the specific local features of each site: essential documentation provided by SNCF Réseau to supplement risk analyses.
