When Parisians are asleep, TEVO springs into action !

Publié le 3 March 2020

Working at night so as not to disturb passengers, only the most nocturnal among us can catch a glimpse of it! A true marvel of innovation and technology, the TEVO, Suite Rapide’s maintenance train, has once again proven its agility and ability to carry out operations in the busiest areas of the Île-de-France network.

For their second project of the year, ETF’s Dense Areas teams are working on the RER C line between Chaville-Vélizy and Champs de Mars/Tour Eiffel. A total of 264 ETF employees will be mobilised to renew 7,072 linear metres between February and April 2020.

At the end of February, the teams began the first part of the section between Chaville-Vélizy and Javel station (15th arrondissement of Paris). Over a two-week period, they renewed the sleepers and ballast between Chaville and Javel stations on the RER C line.
