ETF, first company to own the new SKYRAILER C14 hybrid catenary trolley
ETF is strengthening its expertise in railway works with the acquisition of the brand new SKYRAILER C14 hybrid, a latest-generation catenary platform equipped with the MT1332 kit and approved for the national rail network (RFN) in accordance with the latest SNCF regulations.
Enhanced safety systems:
Equipped with a pedestrian detection system, the machine improves safety in the work area and significantly reduces the risk of accidents. Its light halo allows for clear and immediate identification of the danger zone.
Optimised performance
The machine can be railed under non-consigned catenary, which reduces intervention times and improves operational efficiency. The machine has a working capacity on slopes of up to 6%, ensuring optimal stability. It can also move on rails with the basket extended, up to an angle of 15° at low speed, ensuring increased flexibility on site. Finally, its hybrid motorisation helps to reduce emissions while improving energy management.
A machine immediately deployed in the field
This platform was quickly deployed at the end of January on the RC² construction site in Athis-Mons (91).
This immediate commissioning demonstrates the machine’s adaptability and its perfect suitability for the operational requirements of the ETF teams.
Two additional platforms of the new SKYRAILER version will be acquired by the end of the year, confirming ETF’s commitment to long-term investment in cutting-edge technologies that deliver performance, safety and operational excellence.
