A look back at Safety Days 2025
As you know, every year ETF participates in the Safety Days organised by VINCI Construction worldwide. This key event brings together more than 117,000 employees, temporary workers and subcontractors in 100 countries around a common goal: to strengthen the culture of safety.
Mental health: an invisible but very real risk
The Safety Days 2025 campaign highlighted an issue that is still too often overlooked on construction sites and in companies: mental health as a key factor in vigilance.
A moment of inattention, a lack of sleep, a personal concern. These are all situations that can reduce concentration and increase the risk of accidents, even among the most experienced employees.
At ETF: safety does not stop at equipment. It also depends on each individual’s ability to be fully available, physically and mentally, to detect dangers and act quickly.
For this occasion, various themed workshops were organised:
- Understanding the physiology of sleep and wakefulness
- Addictions: talking about them to better prevent them
- Prevention of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs)
- Noise
- Stress management
A highlight shared across all sites and agencies
Throughout the week of 19 May, discussions were organised in the field and in agencies. The watchword was to open up the conversation on topics related to well-being, stress, fatigue, or personal difficulties that can impact safety.
And remember: it’s OK not to always be OK!
