Replacement of industrialised track equipment in Monts (37)
ETF, en tant que mandataire, a réalisé pour SNCF Réseau, le Renouvellement d’Appareils de Voie Industrialisée (RAVI) en gare de Monts.
RAVI is a national contract for the modernisation of track equipment near stations. We are working here on the Paris-Bordeaux line, the backbone of Atlantic rail traffic.
This operation stands out due to the impressive size of the four 0.0285 tangent track machines being used. This required 10 weeks of work and two intensive operations.
Taking into account the length of the switches, which is 115 metres, and the renewal of approximately 60 metres of ballast, ETF renewed a total of 520 linear metres of track.
To meet this technical challenge, our teams opted for a sliding installation method using a gantry and a motorised lorry. This enabled the new switches to be transferred safely from the adjacent track.
Our track teams worked in synergy with ETF Services to support the work trains and rail-road excavators. They also worked with ETF’s catenary teams on perching and adjustment.
This project illustrates ETF’s commitment to putting its technical expertise at the service of safer and more sustainable regional mobility.
