A historic partnership based on trust

In Strasbourg, the western extension of tram line F is not only a step forward in terms of urban mobility. It also illustrates a historic partnership between ETF, CTS and Eurométropole, based on trust, proximity and technical excellence.

A collaboration rooted in 30 years of history

It all began three decades ago with the creation of Strasbourg’s first tram line, Line A. Since then, ETF has become a key player in the local rail landscape, having built and maintained 95% of the network. This figure reflects a long-standing commitment to smoother, greener and more efficient mobility.

Over the years, a relationship of trust has developed between ETF and its partners. This has enabled the company to develop cutting-edge expertise in the design and maintenance of urban rail projects, illustrated here by the millimetre-precise laying of rails directly on the structure (👉 see episode 2 of the Strasbourg project).

An immersion in the heart of expertise

The CTS teams were invited to spend several weeks immersed alongside ETF employees. These sessions provided an opportunity to share best practices, strengthen ties and promote optimal coordination between stakeholders.

This initiative perfectly illustrates the spirit of collaboration between ETF and CTS, both of which are committed to the development of the Strasbourg metropolitan area.
