An application dedicated to prevention

Going beyond regulatory requirements for team safety!

Periodically, and at least once a year, some of our small rail-mounted equipment is now subject to specific internal ETF checks in addition to the usual regulatory checks. In each of our agencies or at our rear bases, the maintenance teams examine the functioning of the brakes, the quality and integrity of the welds, the presence of reflective markings, and many other elements. This is genuine preventive maintenance on this type of equipment to ensure the smooth and safe running of construction sites.

These periodic checks are not a substitute for the careful checks carried out by employees who use this type of equipment on a daily basis. They are best placed to detect any malfunctions and request the necessary corrective maintenance operations to reduce the risks associated with the use of this type of equipment.

Unique, digitalised monitoring for each piece of rail-mounted equipment

To facilitate the monitoring of this periodic and ad hoc maintenance, a specific application has been made available to the equipment network. The inspection sheets are digitalised and automatically archived after validation. This means that each piece of rail-mounted equipment has its own health record, just as machines have their own maintenance log.

Available in French and German, this application saves time and makes the verification process considerably easier for the user. It also ensures the traceability of checks. Ultimately, this application should make it possible to identify the most common anomalies and take appropriate action.
