4,100th weld on line 15 South West of the Paris Metro
On 3 April 2024, the ETF teams were proud to complete the final rail weld on Line 15 South-West in the presence of their client, La Société des Grands Projets, local elected officials and the President of the Île-de-France region, Valérie Pecresse. This is a new milestone for Line 15 South, which is scheduled to enter service at the end of 2025. Along its 33 km, it will cross 22 municipalities and improve mobility for more than one million inhabitants.

This project began in January 2022. It involved equipping the railway infrastructure (tracks and overhead contact lines) along the 16.5 km section between the future Pont de Sèvres and Les Ardoines stations. The work will be completed in mid-May 2024, but our teams will remain mobilised alongside their client until the line is commissioned.
In addition to working to develop rail mobility, ETF is committed to local employment. More than 36,000 hours have been completed in integration programmes thanks to local partners based in the municipalities through which our project passes.

To successfully complete this major project, ETF was able to draw on the know-how and expertise of its employees in the Major Urban Projects and Catenary divisions, as well as on the synergy of the VINCI Group with the involvement of Mobility, a subsidiary of VINCI Energies.
