New training opportunities at Caténaires et Energie
With the aim of developing and maintaining its level of performance, ETF invests in training. Whether theoretical or practical, training is a key element of our organisation. It enables all our employees, new and old, to be part of a dynamic of constant improvement.
ETF’s Caténaires et Energie agency, located in Lisses, is upgrading its training site: ‘Voies Ecole Caténaires’. It now consists of two 60-metre tracks and two 0.11 track switches.
This installation is the result of synergy between two ETF agencies. The teams from the ITE Nantes Atlantique sector mobilised at the end of October 2019 to carry out the work. This was a great opportunity for the two agencies to work together.
These training tracks are not only for catenary agents. In partnership with ETF Academy, other training courses for other railway professions will also use these facilities. These tracks, installed directly within the agency, are also used for vehicle maintenance, particularly brake testing.
The ‘Catenary Training Tracks’ were recently inaugurated with trainees on the new catenary recruitment programme. They are following a specialised 6-month programme, including 8 weeks of training.
