A major security operation on the National Expressway
Because safety on construction sites is not optional, it is sometimes necessary to implement significant resources. With this in mind, Enorail [Eiffage Rail/ETF] called on Feroway, which deployed 110 people for three months on a Suite Rapide Nationale (SNCF Réseau) construction site.
This team, made up of 90 announcers and 20 ASPs (Personnel Safety Agents), is the largest ever deployed by Feroway. The complexity of the environment (curves, counter-curves, garage areas, etc.) required this large number of agents to ensure the safety of the construction companies.
An operation of this size required no less than six months of preparation, particularly for:
- site reconnaissance
- team calibration
- recruitment
Hiring announcers is a real challenge for this type of operation. The responsibility involved in this job requires a strict recruitment process. Before being allowed on site, candidates must undergo a thorough medical examination, obtain the approval of a psychologist and complete specific training.
