ETF wins a prize at the Société du Grand Paris’ BIMBOOSTERS awards
On Friday 20 January 2023, Société du Grand Paris brought together teams of project managers, architects and partner companies at the Fabrique du métro in Saint-Ouen (93) to announce the winners of the first edition of its BIM Boosters.
ETF, Mobility Way (VINCI Energies) and ViaNova were awarded the prize in the “Collaboration” category.
The jury singled out ETF, Mobility Way (VINCI Energies) and ViaNova for highlighting the benefits of a BIM (Building Information Modeling) approach to managing tunnel and overhead track works, as well as the overhead contact profile for the western sector of line 15 south and the GPE’s Vitry SMI.
The use of BIM offers considerable benefits in terms of :
- Optimising data synthesis processes
- Managing interfaces between civil engineering and railway systems
- Digital backup between the project and execution studies for VF PAC objects (track and aerial contact profile)
Communication between the design/works teams and multi-trade coordination. Congratulations to the consortium for this award, which testifies to the high level of commitment and expertise of its teams.
